Telugu Hit Movies In January 2023
Surprisingly, not even a single movie of tier 1 heroes in Tollywood was released in this period. Veteran superstars like Chiranjeevi and Bala Krishna filled the void during Sankranti festival. Both their movies witnessed success at the Box Office during Sankranti. These two movies once again proved that age is not a factor for strong crowd pullers like Megastar Chiranjeevi and Yuvartna Bala Krishna.

Bala krishna’s Veera Simha Reddy aka VSR is the first movie to get a hit talk at the Tollywood box office. The opening day collections of Veera Simha Reddy were massive and it even touched the 50 crore mark. This is Balayya Babu’s first movie to touch 50 crore mark on it’s opening day.
Except in Ralayaseema region, Veera Simha Reddy lost to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya in most areas. The closing gross box office collections of Veera Simha Reddy stand at Rs 134.06 crore rupees. VSR collected a share of 79.82 crores and the distributors earned 6.82 crore rupees on their investment.
